After a career as a dancer Akua followed in her mum’s footsteps, becoming a hairstylist and makeup artist, specialising in bridal makeup and wedding hair like Pam, her mum.
Alongside her wedding work, Akua has also gained extensive experience creating hair and makeup looks for studio, TV and fashion shoots but working with brides is her passion.

Bridal makeup and wedding hair by Akua. I began my hairstyle training with Create Beautiful Hair and it didn’t take me long to discover I had a real flair for creating beautiful hairstyles.
After working with Pam for a while I was asked to join her teaching and assisting on the Blow-dry and Braiding Courses. Which I absolutely loved.
I also taught online with Create Beautiful Hair, where my bridal hairstyling tutorials are available to watch onYouTube.
